0 Great Spirit whose voice I hear in the winds,
And whose breath gives life to all the world,
Hear Me!
I am small and weak
I need Your strength and wisdom!
Let me walk in beauty
And may my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.

Oh Lord,
I do not know what to ask you.
You alone know my real needs,
and you love me more
than I even know how to love.
Enable me to discern my true needs

come to [...]

Is this in conflict with His sovereignty? [...]

Paul speaks of the Spirit’s helping us in our weaknesses to pray with “sighs too deep for words.” This can happen because the God “who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit” (Rom. 8:26-27). Instead of speaking during prayer, empty prayer is being an empty vessel, permitting God’s sight, vision, and voice to [...]

Almighty Father, glorious in might and power. In all of our endeavors to worship and serve you, speak to our heart and mind so that our will pursues obedience after Your will; casting aside what we believe to be spiritual, which in reality, is only a distraction from You. Give us ears as we listen [...]
